Compagnie LeBouef is RECRUITING and we are looking for more members to fill all sorts of roles, both military and civilian. No prior reenacting experience is required; Membership is open to anyone and everyone!
-Reenacting is a fun and exciting way to learn history- History is not just a set of boring dates and statistics in a textbook: it was created be living people! What better way to bring history alive than to recreate the way those people lived.
-Reenacting is a family hobby-There are things for the whole family to do at reenactment events. It’s a fun way for the family to spend some quality time together.
-Reenacting is a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of the 21st century-Enjoy your week-ends at the slow and relaxing pace of the 18th century!
There are all sorts of personas you can adopt! Consider being a soldier of King Louis in the French Marines. Or perhaps serve in a Canadian Milice, or militia. Perhaps you’d like to work on a cannon as the member of Les Cannoniers-Bombardiers. Or maybe you’d rather portray a civilian. These are just a few of the things you can be! Do you have any special talents or skills? You may be able to work those into your persona!
